In 2025, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bulgaria will once again have the opportunity to receive grant through SME FundThe programme, developed by the European Commission and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), aims to protecting intellectual property and helping businesses establish their competitive advantage.
Two of the fund's most popular instruments – Voucher 1 and Voucher 2 – offer significant relief for companies.
Voucher 1 provides 90% reimbursement of the costs of preliminary intellectual property diagnostics (IP Scan)This service is extremely useful for companies and entrepreneurs who want to understand which aspects of their business are subject to protection and create an intellectual property strategy tailored to their needs.
With Voucher 2 businesses can recover 75% of fees for registration of trademarks and designs within the European Union and for international protectionRegistering a trademark or design not only protects the company's identity, but also increases its value and trust among customers.
